From M6 Travelling North (J11)
Leave M6 at J11. Follow the signs at exit roundabout to Cannock (A460). When entering Cannock you reach a roundabout with McDonalds on your right – go straight over this roundabout. Follow the road to Cannock town centre – over roundabout, through all traffic lights, past ASDA superstore. Carry on to next roundabout – follow the signs to Rugeley (A460) from here. You will approach Rugeley on the Hednesford Road, which then becomes Sandy Lane. Follow this road to the bottom of the hill, at roundabout take the 2nd exit (Burger King should be on your left). Follow this road to the double mini roundabout – take the 1st exit at 1st roundabout then 2nd exit at 2nd roundabout onto Station Road (church should be on your right). Go along Station Road to mini roundabout – turn right (2nd exit) into Power Station Road. Follow this road along to mini roundabout – turn left (1st exit) Rugeley Power Station is located off the next mini roundabout.
From M6 Travelling South (J15)
Leave M6 at J15. Follow A500 Stoke. At 1st roundabout (Hanford Island) turn right (3rd exit) signposted Trentham A34. Follow A34 following signs towards Stone. Continue straight on over all roundabouts following signs for A51 Rugeley/Lichfield. Head through Little Haywood and cross over the river Trent. At the roundabout with the A51 take the 1st exit onto the New Rugeley Bypass. Follow the road for 2.5 miles until you reach a mini roundabout. Take the 1st exit to the power station.
Parking is available on site.
All visitors must report to Security Gatehouse upon arrival. SITE SPEED LIMIT 9MPH.
